 Functional Area  Mechanical Engineer 
 Experience  Total: 15 years. a. Candidate must have 12 years+ previous experience in the oil and gas industry of which a minimum of 5 years+ should have been in the position of planning and scheduling engineer for a client operator and/or contractor organization. b. Candidates to have previous experience of risk based scheduling methodologies and to provide guidance and input to Consultants project schedule risk assessment.

 Relevant Skills  a. Candidate must be able to develop project specific Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting and other project control requirements and to incorporate them into the respective Tenders / Agreements for feasibility / conceptual studies executed by BDSD. b. Candidate must be able to evaluate the technical proposals received from Consultants with a view to determining their compliance with specified requirements, assess adequacy of the resource requirements and prepare relevant portion of the Technical Evaluation Report as well as to finalize relevant portion of the Agreement document subsequent to award, after incorporating all bulletins issued and clarifications received during the study tender stage. c. Candidate must be able to develop an independent review and analysis of all planning and scheduling deliverables from Consultants during project implementation stage relating to Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Reporting, Schedule Risk Analysis and Productivity taking into consideration the Agreement requirements, Project priorities such as Plant Shutdown requirements etc. for subsequent FEED scope of works by Consultant Years d. Candidate must have competency in the use project scheduling software applications such as Microsoft Project professional and Primavera P6 software. 
 Job Description  Candidate will report primarily to Vice President-Business Development Studies Division as well as, to study manager and on occasions to project stakeholders and/or shareholders. Candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative. 
 Other Requirements  Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to prepare and present summary reports to management, and stakeholders and/or shareholders.
