 Functional Area  Turbine Mechanic 
 Experience  1. 10-15 years of experience in the field of facilities design, construction and maintenance. 2. At least 7-10 years of this experience must have been in the maintenance of Boilers, Steam Turbines and its auxiliaries including the Natural Gas Pressure reducing Stations (NGPRS), Fuel gas compressors, Liquid Fuel systems, etc. 3. At least 5 years of this experience as the director or Senior Manager / Assistant Director of maintenance at a large scale thermal power plant. Years

 Job Description  Reporting to the Vice President-Mechanical Maintenance, the Senior Manager will lead in managing and further developing of a world-class department of energized, highly-responsive and forward-looking maintenance professionals dedicated to ensuring high availability and reliability of 50 large Boilers, 21 Steam turbines (of total 2542 MW capacity) and 11 NGPRS plus liquid fuel forwarding systems and fuel tank farms in a power and water producing complex with total capacity of about 9545 MW of power and 470 MIGD of desalinated water. Overall management of mechanical maintenance process at Steam plants of DEWA by precise planning, budgeting, monitoring/controlling routine, preventive, overhauls & emergency maintenance of all mechanical installations, associated systems, facilities including proposals/implementation of projects for improvement/uprating existing installations, identification of man-power & training needs with objective to ensure maximum reliability, availability of the plants and thereby support the organization s mission & drive towards its vision within the corporate policies and departmental quality, safety & environmental procedures. 
 Other Requirements  Develop metrics and key performance indicators, establish goals and work to improve timely and cost effective delivery of maintenance services. Create and routinely provide reports that measure and monitor the maintenance activities and costs. Be active in professional organizations in order to learn of new and best practices. Compare departmentís maintenance activities and investments with peer institutions and make recommendations for continual improvement of the systems and processes.
