 Functional Area  Oil Industry Support and Services Personnel 
 Experience   Receives verbal or written instructions from Supervisor, obtains requirements for work and permits to work and proceeds to worksite to carry out the job Receives work assignments from Supervisor with comments on required work, examines faulty equipment to determine scope and requirement, obtains necessary tools and spare parts and proceeds to work site to carry out the job. Carries out a wide range of corrective maintenance and repairs indicated by regular predictive checks, or failures of equipment and systems reported by Operations. Includes locating failure, carrying out necessary repairs by dismantling, assembling, replacement and repair of defective equipment and components. Carries out the corrective maintenance and defect repair ofmechanical stationary and rotating equipment indicated by regular inspection! predictive systems. Includes checking equipment to locate faults, detennining the faults and the appropriate method ofrepair, and carrying out or directing repair work. Includes dismantling, assembling, replacement, and repair of defective equipment and components. Carries out routine, preventive and predictive maintenance checks and tests on machinery and equipment according to schedules, checklists and specific equipment requirements. Repairs and/or replaces defective parts, reassembles overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring upon startup. Reports to Supervisor where readings are outside tolerable limits. Carries out the routine, predictive and preventive maintenance checks and tests on running equipment and machinery. Includes taking correct measurements of clearance, tolerance and alignment within acceptable limits using a wide range ofprecession instruments such as laser optic equipment, gauges and techno-meters, and reporting to Supervisor where readings are outside tolerable limits. Determines in conjunction with Supervisor, where major equipment or subassemblies have to be removed to the Workshop for major repairs or overhaul and carries out repair or replacement before reassembling. Participates in annual shutdown or major equipment turn-around in the Plant. Carries out new installations, modification and testing of equipment through various stages. Runs offload and on-stream tests to ensure proper operation, satisfies himself of correct alignment, checks temperature readings at each stage and hands over repaired unit to operations personnel. Complies with all safety and fire rules and regulations, including the use of I ADNOC Refining Years

 Education/Qualification  Support Technician Education and Experience Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Completion of Technical Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 02 years trade Diploma in the respective trade. Preference will be given to candidates having 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 08 years experience in heavy equipment mechanical repairs, within the oil/gas industry or power plants. Speaking and Writing English. Awareness of CMMMS Concepts and Vibration techniques. Good Computer skills.
